Hello, my dear guests, I am Thomas, your tour guide in Taiwan. I am friendly, open-minded, and keen to put myself in other cultural contexts. Besides, I love swimming, hiking, cycling, reading, language exchange, cooking, and most importantly, interacting with people. My interests in people, travel, and living led me into the tourism industry and I have guided more than 100 guests from all over the world. I enjoy traveling as a backpacker and frequently participate in organized tours with different types and styles. Therefore, I know exactly what you think and how you feel as a guest. During my time as an exchange student in Germany and after returning to Taiwan, I have been a Bed & Breakfast host, having hosted over 80 guests from all five continents. I have had so much quality time and cultural exchanges with my guests. Be my guest! I believe that serving as a tour guide/leader is a people-oriented profession, much like being a service provider in the HR sector within a company. My past experience in HR has prepared me to handle a wide variety of clients, provide excellent customer service, adhere to relevant regulations, and uphold professional ethics.
